Treading the Boards: Monologues and Scene Work for Adult Actors

Join us for Treading the Boards, an inspiring 8-week acting workshop led by the renowned Jackie Pualani Johnson! Running from February 24 to April 14, 2025, class will be every Monday night from 6:30-8:30pm at the Keawe Theater (280 Keawe St.) in Hilo. This series is designed for adult actors of all experience levels to explore monologues and scene work while honing their craft in character development, emotional expression, and stage presence. The program culminates in live showcase performances on April 18 & 19, 2025, giving participants the chance to shine on stage. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to acting, this is your opportunity to build confidence, connect with fellow artists, and bring powerful stories to life!
